In this role, the Regional HR Business Partner manages a team of five professionals, guiding and developing them to deliver high-quality HR services and programs. The individual is responsible for conducting organizational assessments and providing actionable insights to improve overall efficiency and employee satisfaction. Working closely with leadership, the position ensures compliance with labor regulations and company policies while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. Educational /

Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan

  • Candidates having Master’s degree and / or any other relevant certification(s) will be preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of Banking experience, out of which 07 years in Commercial or SME, either on the business or risk management side in a commercial bank

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required  

  • Leadership & people management

  • Credit risk assessment skills for SME / Commercial

  • Exposure to agricultural lending will be an advantage

  • Knowledge of SBP’s Prudential Regulations.

  • Understanding of different types of collaterals

  • Proficient in the use of MS office

  • Problem solving & decision making

  • The ability to use knowledge of specific sectors and the broader economy to make a judgment about specific credits

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To exercise credit approval authority delegated from time to time to approve / recommend proposals for approval. Processing will include SME, Commercial and agriculture credit proposals for both conventional and Islamic banking related to Baluchistan Hub. Exercise of powers to be done while analyzing credit risk and assess obligors credit worthiness in conjunction with the collateral offered, and ensure compliance with Bank’s internal policies, procedures and SBP Prudential Regulations

  • To manage a credit team of 03 regions of Baluchistan Hub

  • To assist and support Senior Credit Officer with credit review, assessment, and monitoring

  • To liaison with different stakeholders like business, CAD, audit etc. at Hub and regional level to ensure smooth operations

  • To ensure audit requirements and observations related to their own area are addressed (both internal and external) and implement measures to minimize recurrence and liaise with Head Office for handling audit observations

  • To ensure all processes are completed within the specified turnaround time

  • To monitor the credit portfolio for early warnings, maintain portfolio MIS, staff data and ensure its timely submission

  • To train and develop the team maintaining high standards and appropriate succession planning

  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)
