Software Engineer React II

MHS Dev is seeking a skilled Software Engineer React II with at least three years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will specialize in frontend development using React and have a strong grasp of JavaScript, Redux, and Component Driven Development. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build high-quality, scalable user interfaces that meet business needs and provide exceptional user experiences. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate will play a key role in mentoring and guiding a small team of two developers, ensuring efficient project delivery and adherence to best practices. This position requires hands-on experience with API integration, responsive design, and version control systems, along with a focus on producing reliable, tested code through unit testing. Working in an Agile environment, the Software Engineer will collaborate actively during sprints and contribute to continuous improvement. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt rapidly to changing requirements are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user interface components using React, ensuring code quality and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to implement seamless API integrations.
Lead and mentor a small team of two developers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Implement responsive design techniques to ensure applications perform well across various devices and screen sizes.
Manage version control using industry-standard tools to maintain codebase integrity and support collaboration.
Write unit tests to validate functionality and maintain high code coverage, facilitating reliable software releases.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive project success.
Utilize Redux to manage application state effectively, ensuring scalable and maintainable code architecture.
Drive Component Driven Development practices by building reusable UI components and documenting them.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges promptly.
Continuously research emerging frontend technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency and application quality.
Ensure compliance with software development standards, security protocols, and data protection guidelines.
