QA Engineer

At Computer House, the QA Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of software products by executing thorough testing processes and identifying defects before product release. This position requires at least five years of experience in manual testing, test planning, and defect tracking to guarantee that software applications meet functional and performance standards. The QA Engineer collaborates closely with development teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test cases that cover all aspects of the software. The QA Engineer primarily focuses on manual testing techniques, systematically planning test scenarios to uncover potential issues and verify that the software operates efficiently across different environments. They document defects clearly and work with product developers to prioritize resolution efforts. While this role does not involve team management, it requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive communication to drive product quality and support release deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools to facilitate effective resolution.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project specifications and ensure test coverage.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate software quality in different use cases.
Analyze test results to detect issues, evaluate software performance, and recommend improvements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of testing best practices and apply them to optimize testing processes.
Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities, defects found, and overall software quality status.
Assist in preparing user documentation and support materials related to quality assurance processes.
Participate in review meetings to offer feedback on requirements, design, and implementation from a quality perspective.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
