MHS Dev is seeking a skilled PHP Developer with a minimum of five years of experience to join its dynamic team. This role focuses on building efficient, scalable, and reliable back-end solutions using PHP within various development projects. The ideal candidate excels in object-oriented programming and has thorough knowledge of MVC frameworks. The position requires hands-on experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and managing databases to support web applications. Collaboration with other teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule is an essential aspect of this role. The PHP Developer at MHS Dev works independently, as this role does not include managing a team. The role involves continuous improvement of existing applications, code review, and adherence to software development best practices. Effective communication skills are crucial to interact with product managers and front-end developers to align development efforts with business goals.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side logic using PHP, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Implement application features by following the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern to maintain a robust and organized codebase.
Design and develop RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between front-end components and back-end services.
Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance tuning.
Use version control systems to manage codebases, track changes, and collaborate efficiently with other developers.
Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, performing debugging and corrective actions to provide seamless user experiences.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with fellow developers.
Stay updated with the latest developments in PHP technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and project managers to execute development plans.
Contribute to the planning and estimation of project timelines based on requirements and technical challenges.
Write clear, concise, and well-documented code to facilitate maintainability and future enhancements.
Ensure compliance with security and data protection protocols through diligent coding and testing practices.
