The ideal candidate will have strong skills in API test automation using tools like RestAssured and . Proficiency in BDD frameworks and Java is essential.This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about quality assurance and testing in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.The selected individuals will work out of the Contour Software Lahore/Karachi/Islamabad resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.Role and Responsibilities: include but not limited to;Automation Development:o Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using BDD/Cucumber, Java, and other tools for robust and scalable test coverage.API Automation:o Design and implement API automation frameworks and scripts using tools like RestAssured.o Validate API performance, functionality, and security by creating and executing detailed test cases.o Debug and resolve issues in API services, collaborating closely with developers.UI-based Automation:o Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using tools like Selenium.o Ensure seamless user interface functionality through robust end-to-end testing strategies.o Automate repetitive UI tasks to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.Manual Testing:o Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing across web and mobile platforms.Defect Management:o Document, track, and resolve issues identified during testing, collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders.General Responsibilities:o Collaborate in Agile teams, participating in sprint ceremonies to align testing efforts with development cycles.o Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.o Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve QA processes.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of .Hands-on .Strong understanding of RESTful services and API validation techniques.Hands-on .Proficiency in BDD frameworks like Cucumber with Gherkin syntax.Strong programming skills in Java for test automation development.Familiarity with SQL for database validation and back-end testing.Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies..Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented test scripts.Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectivelyExciting Benefits we offer:Market-leading .
