**Job Title:** Branch Services Officer (BSO) **Group :** Branch Banking Group / Islamic Banking Group **Reports to:** Branch Services Supervisor / Branch Operations Manager **Location:** Various Branches – United Bank Limited (UBL) **Job Summary:** The Branch Services Officer (BSO) serves as the frontline representative of UBL, primarily responsible for handling all cash-related transactions, cheque processing, and providing excellent service to walk-in customers. The BSO plays a critical role in ensuring smooth branch operations, maintaining accuracy, compliance, and delivering exceptional customer experience in line with UBL's values and operational standards. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / CHALLENGES / WORK EXAMPLES:** - Accurate execution of all Customer Financial Transactions (LCY & FCY) - To provide exceptional customer service and serve with a Smile - Exhibit vigilance and take precautionary measures with respect to security of cash counter - Be observant, alert and exercise customer due diligence while dealing with customers - Implementation of Controls & Compliance - Effective sorting & balancing of Cash in Till - Processing cheque deposits & payments - Utility Bills Collection - Handling RTC's, Security Deposit Receipts (SDRs) and National Prize bonds **COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:** **Internal:** Co BSO, BSS, CSR, BOM, PB, BM, Greeter **External:** Customers **KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:** **Minimum Qualifications:** Matric. **Maximum Qualifications:** Intermediate. **Minimum Experience:** -Must have successfully completed Basic Banking Training. **Job Specific Skills:** 1. Strong math/numeracy and computer skills 2. Computer literate 3. Customer service oriented 4. Effective communication skills **Behavioural Skills:** Has important technical skills related to the job **WORKING ENVIRONMENT:** Office environment-100% Offsite - 0%
