ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

British American Tobacco s Internship Program has been grooming individuals for exciting careers for over a decade. This role offers hands-on experience, working closely with managers and executives to acquire essential skills and knowledge. As an intern, you will collaborate with senior personnel, develop technical expertise, and contribute meaningfully to the function or department.

We are looking for highly energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic individuals to join our Operations Team in Suva, reporting to function managers in the following areas:

• Factory Team

• Supply Chain Team
• Quality Team
• Engineering Team

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

• Develop practical skills through on-the-job training and learning opportunities.
• Support day-to-day operations and complete assigned tasks.
• Gain an understanding of each function within the department.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry.
• Observe and learn from experienced team members.
• Acquire knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
• Maintain records and prepare relevant documents.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company regulations.

CRUCIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Certification or diploma in the above fields.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
• Strong understanding of environment, health, and safety practices.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships.

• Proficiency in Salesforce, MS Dynamics 365, and reporting tools.
