Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires strong individual contribution and the ability to mentor junior engineers informally. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for creating scalable and efficient solutions by leveraging skills in continuous integration and database management. This role requires a solid command of debugging and testing methodologies to deliver robust software in a timely manner. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications following best practices and coding standards.
Participate actively in Agile Development cycles including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Implement and manage version control using Git to ensure code integrity and collaboration.
Conduct thorough code reviews to identify defects, ensure quality, and mentor peers.
Perform testing and debugging to identify and resolve software issues promptly.
Integrate continuous integration processes to automate build and deployment pipelines effectively.
Manage database systems and optimize queries for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure functionality aligns with business needs.
Stay informed about emerging technologies, recommending and adopting tools to enhance development efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers to foster a knowledge-sharing culture.
