MHS Dev seeks a skilled PHP Developer with at least five years of experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in PHP programming, MySQL database management, and proficiency with the Laravel Framework to create efficient, scalable web applications. This role involves developing and maintaining RESTful APIs, ensuring code quality through unit testing, and utilizing version control systems such as Git. The PHP Developer will play a key role in designing and implementing software solutions that meet business needs while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. In addition to technical expertise, this position requires leadership capabilities as the PHP Developer will manage a team of five developers. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, overseeing project progress, and fostering an environment that promotes best coding practices and collaboration. This leadership aspect ensures timely delivery of high-quality software products that align with MHS Devs standards of excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications using the Laravel Framework.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end integration and third-party services.
Manage MySQL databases, including designing schemas, writing optimized queries, and ensuring data integrity.
Conduct unit testing to validate functionality and reliability of code.
Utilize Git for version control to manage code changes and maintain project history efficiently.
Lead and mentor a team of five developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Review code submitted by team members to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Monitor project timelines and coordinate tasks to ensure on-time delivery of development milestones.
Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Document software design, architecture, and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them to improve development processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and collaboration within the team.
