MHS Dev is seeking a skilled Amazon Web Services Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will specialize in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem. This role focuses on deploying, maintaining, and supporting scalable cloud solutions that drive business performance and operational excellence. The engineer will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure seamless cloud service delivery and continuous improvement of cloud architectures. The AWS Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals. This position does not include team management responsibilities but requires working closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, optimize cost, and enhance security. Emphasis is placed on practical experience with AWS services, automation, and cloud best practices to support the company's technology roadmap and innovation initiatives.
Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure components including EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, and IAM.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud environments.
Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
Manage security by configuring appropriate access controls, encryption, and network policies to protect cloud resources.
Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy scalable and fault-tolerant applications on AWS.
Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance based on workload requirements and business demands.
Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure design, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
Stay current with AWS innovations, best practices, and evolving cloud technologies to recommend improvements.
Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution to safeguard data integrity and availability.
Participate in incident response and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support and guidance for AWS-related tasks across various projects.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around infrastructure automation, monitoring, and security compliance.
