MCB Bank Limited is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate possesses at least five years of professional experience and has completed a minimum of sixteen years of formal education. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining server-side web applications using Node.js and the Express framework. The developer will be responsible for building and optimizing RESTful APIs while working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the banks digital services. This position does not involve managing a team but requires strong collaboration and communication abilities to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently. As a Node.js Developer at MCB Bank Limited, you will contribute to building scalable backend systems critical for modern banking operations. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design to implementation, testing, and deployment. Ensuring code quality, troubleshooting issues, and integrating third-party services are essential components of this role. You will leverage your expertise in Node.js and Express to develop robust, secure, and maintainable applications that support the banks objectives. Continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices are encouraged to drive innovation in the services we provide.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Express framework.
Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and third-party integrations.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of backend services.
Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive banking information.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the reliability and availability of applications.
Integrate third-party services and APIs to expand the functionality of banking applications.
Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends in Node.js development.
Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Adhere to project timelines and meet delivery deadlines while maintaining high code quality.
