We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Head Cashier to oversee the cash management operations of our organization. The Head Cashier will be responsible for supervising cashier staff, ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining financial records, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily activities of cashiers, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies.
Maintain cash registers, reconcile daily cash balances, and prepare end-of-day reports.
Handle escalated customer issues related to payments, refunds, and billing.
Monitor and minimize cash discrepancies, shortages, and errors.
Train new cashiers on POS systems, transaction procedures, and customer service standards.
Coordinate with finance/accounting departments for cash deposits, audits, and reporting.
Implement and enforce cash handling policies to reduce risks of theft, fraud, or mismanagement.
Assist in inventory management and stock verification where applicable.
Ensure a smooth and professional checkout experience for customers.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven work experience as a Head Cashier, Cashier Supervisor, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and financial reporting.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
