The Software Quality Assurance specialist plays a crucial role in the product lifecycle by assuring software applications meet customer requirements and industry standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and expertise in test automation and defect tracking. The ideal candidate ensures thorough documentation of testing results and actively contributes to refining testing processes and quality benchmarks. Although this position does not include team management responsibilities, collaboration across departments to uphold quality throughout development stages is a key aspect of the job.
Responsibilities

Design and develop automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and verify functionalities.
Monitor and document software defects using established defect tracking systems.
Collaborate with software developers to understand product functionalities and resolve defects.
Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports to stakeholders.
Contribute to the enhancement of testing procedures and quality assurance standards.
Participate in requirements analysis to ensure testability and completeness.
Maintain test environments and ensure all configurations are consistent for repeatable test results.
Work within cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery and adherence to project deadlines.
Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, testing tools, and best practices.
